The park is where it happens
Families have options. We help Indiana park departments build the ones they pick — from a pocket park down the road to a destination playground the whole county drives to.
Our Approach
Most Indiana park departments aren't planning a playground. They're carrying several of them, installed in different decades, aging on different clocks, all competing for one capital line. We help you think across the whole system — which site is genuinely due, which one draws from the whole county, and which one just needs a swing bay and another twenty years.
Nobody has to come to your park. Families choose it over the one two towns over, or they don't. The real design question isn't how much equipment fits on the site — it's how much there is to actually do once you're there. We design for play value: climbing, spinning, swinging, and balancing alongside quieter spaces for the kids who want them, enough happening at once that thirty children aren't queued behind one slide, and a range of challenge so a four-year-old and a ten-year-old both find their edge. Kids are building coordination, nerve, and the ability to negotiate with each other out there, and good equipment gives them more ways to do it.
Then we make it look like the place to be. A signature piece, a palette that isn't the same primary colors as every other park in the state, a nod to whatever your town is actually known for. That's the difference between a playground residents use and one they're proud of — and it's what gets photographed, shared, and driven across the county for. Our free design services are delivered by CPSI-certified designers, and we'll revise until you're excited about it.
When it's time to buy, Sourcewell contracts can keep you out of the bid process entirely. Sourcewell pricing is already negotiated and public, which means a town of nine hundred buys at the same number a city of ninety thousand does. No wondering whether you left money on the table. When the budget doesn't quite match the vision, our fundraising consultant works with you at no charge to help you close the gap.
We'll still be picking up the phone in twenty years. Replacement parts, maintenance support, and answers for your crew, long after the ribbon is cut.
